Crypto transfers temporarily unavailable

Incoming and outgoing crypto transfers are temporarily unavailable due to an outage in a third-party service. We expect to restore transfers by tomorrow (6.11.), but we can't promise an exact time. This article explains what this means for you and what you can do in the meantime.

Why are transfers paused?

We screen every incoming and outgoing crypto transfer with a third-party screening service. Screening is required for us to meet our regulatory obligations.

Our screening provider currently has a temporary outage. Because we can't screen transfers during the outage, we have paused them to stay compliant. Transfers will be turned back on as soon as screening is available again.

Outgoing transfers

You can't send crypto from your wallet while transfers are unavailable. If you try to make a withdrawal, you'll see the message "Outgoing transfers are temporarily disabled."

Withdrawals can't be scheduled in advance. Please make your withdrawal again once transfers have been restored.

Incoming transfers

Crypto sent to your wallet during the outage is not lost. All incoming transfers will appear in your wallet once transfers have been restored, and you don't need to do anything. We still recommend waiting to send crypto to your wallet until the service is back.

If you've already sent crypto to your wallet, you can check that it arrived using a public blockchain explorer for that cryptocurrency:

  1. Find the transaction ID (hash) in the wallet or exchange you sent the crypto from.
  2. Search for the transaction ID in a blockchain explorer for that network.
  3. Check that the transaction is confirmed and that the receiving address matches your deposit address in our app.

If the address matches, your transfer has arrived and will show in your wallet once transfers are restored.

Your assets and other services

This is not a security incident, and your assets are safe. Only crypto transfers are paused, and our other services are working normally.
