Managing an estate account

To manage the estate account's funds through our customer service, please provide the following documents via email to info@coinmotion.com

  • A copy of the fully signed deed of estate inventory;

  • Report on family relationships/certificate from the parish register from DVV or church, including all official certificates of the deceased person from the age of 15 to the date of death;

  • Will or testament (if exists);

  • Power of attorney issued by all shareholders of the estate to the person authorized to administer the affairs of the estate;

    • The power of attorney must include the authorized person's name and ID number and specify their rights to:
      • Receive information about the estate's customer account from Coinmotion
      • Conduct cryptocurrency trading on behalf of the estate
      • Withdraw funds to the estate's bank account, and
      • Close the estate's Coinmotion account
    • The power of attorney must include the name, ID number, and signature of each estate beneficiary. 

  • A copy of the authorized shareholder's ID;

  • Email addresses with which any possible accounts have been opened (if available)

 Once these documents are provided, the authorized estate's shareholder can receive information about and manage the estate's Coinmotion account through our customer service.

Estate Account Balance Statement

Upon the passing of a customer, the estate's shareholder can obtain an account balance statement with appropriate documentation. These documents include:

  • Report on family relationships/certificate from the parish register from Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV) or church, including all official certificates of the deceased person from the age of 15 to the date of death, or alternatively, an estate inventory;
  • A copy of the shareholder’s identity card;
  • Email addresses with which any possible accounts have been opened (if available).

Upon receiving these documents, we can provide the account balance statement to the estate's shareholder.
