How to send cryptocurrencies

In the mobile app:

Go to Transfer → Send Cryptos and choose whom you want to send.

If you’re sending to your own wallet or another person/company outside of Coinmotion:

1. Select the currency you want to send.
2. Enter the amount to be sent. You can see the available amount down below. If you want to send the entire available amount, you can click the Max button.
3. Before proceeding, you will see a summary of the amount to be sent, the transfer fee, and the total amount of the transfer in both euros and cryptocurrency.
4. Enter the recipient's cryptocurrency address and double-check the network you're sending via.
5. Choose the type of address you’re sending to.
6. Add additional details about this address: who the recipient is (if you’re sending to your own wallet, the recipient is already prefilled) and the purpose of the transfer (not sent to the recipient).
   If it’s an Other service (VASP/CASP), specify what this service is.
7. Finally, review the order and click Send.
8. Confirm the transfer with the confirmation method set in your settings.

If you’re sending to another Coinmotion user:

1. Select the currency you want to send.
2. Enter the amount to be sent. You can see the available amount below. If you want to send the entire available amount, you can click the Max button.
3. Before proceeding, you will see a summary of the amount to be sent, the transfer fee, and the total amount of the transfer in both euros and cryptocurrency.
4. Enter the email address of the Coinmotion user you want to transfer funds to.
5. Add a message to the user (optional).
6. Finally, review the order and click Continue.
7. Confirm the transfer with the confirmation method you have set in the settings.

In the browser version:

Go to Transfer → Send → Cryptocurrencies and choose where you want to send.

If you’re sending to a Coin address:

1. Select the currency you want to send.
2. Enter the amount to be sent. You can see the available amount below. If you want to send the entire available amount, you can click the Max button.
3. Enter the recipient's cryptocurrency address and double-check the network you're sending via.
4. Before proceeding, you will see a summary of the amount to be sent, the transfer fee, and the total amount of the transfer in both euros and cryptocurrency.
5. Click Continue.
6. Add additional details about this address: choose the type of address you’re sending to, who the recipient is (if you’re sending to your own wallet, the recipient is already prefilled), and the purpose of the transfer (not sent to the recipient).
   If it’s an Other service (VASP/CASP), specify what this service is
7. Finally, review the order and click Send.
8. Confirm the transfer with the confirmation method set in your settings.

If you’re sending to an Email address (to another Coinmotion user):

1. Select the currency you want to send.
2. Enter the amount to be sent. You can see the available amount below. If you want to send the entire available amount, you can click the Max button.
3. Enter the email address of the Coinmotion user you want to transfer funds to.
4. Add a message to the user (optional).
5. Before proceeding, you will see a summary of the amount to be sent, the transfer fee, and the total amount of the transfer in both euros and cryptocurrency.
6. Finally, review the order and click Send.
7. Confirm the transfer with the confirmation method you have set in the settings.

Notes on sending cryptocurrency transfers:

Cryptocurrency transfers are always irreversible. Therefore, please ensure that the receiving address and the selected network is correct. If you are making a transfer for the first time or transferring an exceptionally large sum, we recommend conducting a smaller test transfer at first.
