How can I buy cryptocurrencies?

There are two ways to buy crypto:

1. Top up your account with euros and use your EUR balance for a precise crypto amount.
2. Use online banking or card to buy crypto in euro equivalent.

Pay with your EUR account balance

1. Deposit euros into your Coinmotion account from the Transfer → Euros → Deposit section. Once the euros have arrived in your account, go to the Trade page or choose the desired currency on the Home or Markets pages and press Buy.
2. Choose Pay with your EUR account balance
3. Choose how much of it you wish to buy in euro equivalent. You can also press the Available button, and the purchase will be made with the entire euro balance available to you.
4. Before confirming the trade, you will see a summary of how much cryptocurrency you will receive, how many euros the trade requires, and the fee for the trade. Price information updates automatically every 15 seconds.
5. Swipe to Buy. The purchase happens immediately without separate confirmation.
6. If you made a market price purchase, the purchased cryptocurrencies will appear immediately in your balance on the Home page.

Pay with online banking or card

1. Go to the Trade page or choose the desired currency on the Home or Markets pages and press Buy. 
2. Choose Pay with online banking or card.
3. Choose how much of it you wish to buy in euro equivalent.
4. Before confirming the trade, you will see a summary of how much cryptocurrency you will receive, how many euros the trade requires, and the fee for the trade. Price information updates automatically every 15 seconds.
5. Determine your instant payment method. Options include debit or credit card and direct debit via Paytrail.
6. Authorize the transaction using your selected payment method.
7. Confirm your transaction to complete the buy.
8. The purchased cryptocurrencies will appear immediately in your balance on the Home page.

On the Orders page, you can view all the orders you have placed.

You can use historical price data to support your decision-making. You can find the price history in the browser at the bottom of the Buy and Sell tabs on the Trading page and on mobile in the Markets section.
