In the Coinmotion mobile application, it is possible to set up biometric authorization for logging in with fingerprint or face recognition depending on the settings of your mobile device.
Important: If you log in for the first time on a new device, or if you have previously logged into the mobile app only with online banking credentials, you will need to confirm the login with a separate verification code sent to your email. To receive the verification code, you need to log in with your username and password. Only after confirming the login on a new device will you be able to set up biometric authorization as the login method.
Enabling Biometric authorization:
- Login to your Coinmotion account
- Select Account Settings and Security Settings
- Activate Biometric authorization
- Register biometric login
- Log in with biometrics
- Biometric authorization is now available as a login method in the mobile app.
Disabling Biometric Authorization:
- Login to your Coinmotion account
- Select Account Settings and Security Settings
- Disable Biometric authorization
- Biometric authorization is no longer available as a login method.
