# Merger of Velodrome (VELODROME) and Aerodrome Finance (AERO)

Velodrome (VELODROME) and Aerodrome Finance (AERO) will be converted to Aerodrome Finance (AERO) at a rate of 1 VELODROME = 0.044 AERO. Old AERO tokens will be converted to new AERO tokens at a rate of 1:1. Trading of Velodrome and Aerodrome Finance will be halted for the transition as of November 2, 2026.

If you do not wish to exchange your VELODROME tokens for AERO tokens, you must sell these assets before November 2, 2026. After this date, buying or selling VELODROME will no longer be possible. Once the change is complete, AERO can be bought and sold as usual. The estimated completion of the change is week 45. The change requires no action from customers.
